The Team

We are the proud Secondbrain Team. We work day and night to make this the best content aggregation platform in the world.The development team is based in Krakow, Poland in the offices of Making Waves Polska. The management team is based in Oslo, Norway.

Follow the team’s updates on Second Brain

  • Lars Teigen is the Founder and CEO of Secondbrain. This is his second startup. He also co-founded Making Waves AS in 2001, which is now one of Norway’s leading Internet business consultancies. At Making Waves he worked mostly on strategy consulting and project management. He has Master of Science in Communication from the Illinois State University.
  • Johan Høgåsen-Hallesby is the Product Manager on Secondbrain, has a Master of Science in Industrial Design from the The Oslo School of Design and Architecture. During his studies he spent one term as an intern in an early stage start-up in Boston. At Secondbrain he is in charge of product strategy, design and service quality and building the user community.
  • Audun Kjelstrup is the Communicy Manager on Secondbrain. He is coming from another startup called Ezmo, where he worked as Marketing Associate. He is currently working on a degree in Digitale Medier at the University of Oslo. At Secondbrain he is responsible for taking care of our user community.
  • Maciej Grzyb is the Development Manager. He has been a passionate developer since he got his first computer in junior high. He joined Secondbrain from Apriso where he worked for six years as an architect and developer on enterprise class software for Fortune 500 companies. In Secondbrain he is in charge of technical architecture and design as well as managing the development team.
