Brainiac Number 10,000 Arrives!

Just the other day our 10,000th user arrived on the Secondbrain scene, and we could not have hand picked a better community addition. To highlight this milestone, we also awarded Nico Del Castillo with a $100 Amazon gift certificate too. Nico responded with a very nice email in which he included a short iteration of exactly how he became the auspicious number 10,000.

Ninja Brainiac Nico.

Evidently, Nico works from withing social media and was following some wildfire tools* when he ran across the little SB icon. Clicking more out of curiosity than anything else, Nico was excited to see that SB is an aggregator. In Nico’s own words; “I quickly realized that SB was a social aggregator - in other words, it was a service that would make my life better and easier, and would definitely be a new window for lots of new content.”

We sent Nico the notification that he had won the Amazon gift, to which naturally Nico assumed this was a hoax of some kind. :) Of course it was no hoax, and now Nico is just trying to figure out what to do with the card? Anyone got any ideas? Nico has already added great content to the community, and is obviously a skilled Web networker. We are thrilled to have just such Ninja Turtle (he said it) Web warriors here at SecondBrain.

So, congratulations Nico and we look forward to great things from you in the future. As for Ninjas, Nico is quite expert at the martial arts as we learned from his great blog about page. Nico also beat us to post on the 10,000th user story by a day or two. We sincerely hope Nico finds a good use for the Amazon dollars, but if not perhaps everyone could visit his profile and offer a welcome and some suggestions!
