Last week, we did three presentations about Secondbrain at various venues in Oslo, Norway. It was great to come out of the office and start talking about ourselves again.
First Tuesday
First out was the First Tuesday event at Rockefeller in Oslo – just a three minute lightning talk – but a great warm up for the rest of the week. We met a lot of good people there and did lots of hand shaking and set a few lunch dates for follow ups with other start-ups and a few investor contacts. I would have been happy with the presentation where it not for the fact that my video demo stopped after 20 seconds.
UXnet
On Wednesday we had invited the local UXnet group for a MeetUp in our offices for beer, pizza and some slides. About 30 people came and Johan and I spent about 90 minutes going through the whole story and taking questions. This is the first time I’ve met this community and I was very impressed by their enthusiasm and insightful questions.
Here are the slides:

EPiSERVER Community launch
Finally on Thursday – we did yet another presentation. This time for the EPIsERVER community. We were invited to speak at their launch event for the EPiSERVER Community platform. They already have a CMS and now they’re launching a community application to go along with it.
After two days of warm-up, we were pretty well prepared for this presentation. The venue was an old classic cinema with a huge canvas for my slides. They also had a wireless microphone that I could use – so I was able to move around freely on the stage. The audience wasn’t as engaged as the previous night, but I think that they got the idea. Several people came up to talk to us during the break.
Here are the slides from that presentation. They are a bit more condensed than the one above:

And another shot from my talk. Next week we’re doing another presentation. Will do some adjustments to the slides and use-cases for the demo to make it even better.
