We just added support for two great services: StumbleUpon and Box.net.
Import your StumbleUpon bookmarks
StumbleUpon is probably our most requested service. The reason we’ve been holding back on supporting it is that they don’t have a real API that can give us the complete catalog of a user’s bookmarks. But instead of waiting for an API, we decided to start by getting your stumbles by RSS. We do however save the items in your Secondbrain library so they don’t expire with the feed.
Add your box.net files to your Secondbrain
Cloud computing is not complete without a great storage service. And Box.net seems to be the best one out there. If you have an account on box.net you can add it as a service and have all your files synchronized. Note that only files that have explicitly been made public will be public in S|B. Like with all other content, you can filter your files according to file types and organize them in collections.
Highligting a few Secondbrainers
A few weeks into the contest - lots of people have signed up and started working on their libraries. I’m always amazed to see the variation in the content that people bring into their Secondbrains - and very happy to see that it’s not just “Web2.0″ that populates the tag clouds. This is just one of the indications that we’re able to reach a mixed crowd. People like Julie, JK, BS and Sigalon. Read more about them on our blog.

The Beta 2 of Secondbrain is launching in about four weeks. To celebrate our upcoming launch and reward the growing Secondbrain community we’re going to give away a MacBook Air and other cool prizes!
Just add some valuable content, invite some friends and create a few great collections of content. The person with the best combination of content, collections and network will get his/her very own brand spanking new MacBook Air. The second and third best Second Brains will get a Xbox 360 and iPod Nano respectively.
Which services should we add next?
We plan to do yet another release next week, adding a few more services. This is a high priority for us right now. If you’d like to have your say and help us set priorities, let your voice be heard on our blog.
