  Testing the embed collection functionality development | (1)

  The embed collection functionality is released, and I'd like to test it with this great collection from busstories on Web2.0. Now we should just get the zoom feature in as well, and I would fit better to our blog. But this is a great way to free your content and distribute collections anywhere on the web.

  Marc Andreessen - yes the Netscape guy - wrote a great post about why not to do a start-up. Like many other references to this post I also find this an excellent description of start-up life. Even though I am starting my company within the corporate systems of my previous company (Making Waves), and don't have to deal with the basic challenges of corporate routines and culture, his thoughts really resonate with my own reflections - especially the emotional roller-coaster part of it.   There have been quite a lot of blog-buzz on Second Brain in the past few weeks. Especially after we got the excellent review by Phil Butler on Read/Write Web. I've collected a few of these in a collection of media coverage on Second Brain. I wasn't able to show them all, and quite a few of them are in languages that I cannot read or understand. But it is interesting anyway to see how this idea is spreading to the far corners of the world.

  Collections bug is fixed bug | (0)

  Just a quick note to let you know that we've fixed the bug that made you unable to create or open any collection. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We plan to do a big release later this week and add many more users. Thanks to all of you who have signed up so far:)

  Application form fixed but new bug introduced bug | (3)

  Just a quick note to let you know that we fixed the bug that made the application form crash. It was a problem with our email configuration. And like it is with software development, there are always new bugs to fight with, and I just noticed that in today's deployment the collection editor does not work. You will not be able to create a new collection or open any of your own collections or shared collections. I am sorry about this, but we will fix it pronto. We'll also do an upgrade on our routines for deployment...

  Problems with application form bug | (1)

  It seems that we have some problems with the application form on our front page. For some reason, any application generates a server error. I became aware of the bug when I noticed that nobody had applied for access in two days. Then I tried to apply myself - and found the bug. I hope it will be fixed early Monday morning at the latest. Apologies to everybody who tried to apply the past few days.
